A total of 549 posts are distributed among male and female candidates across different sports disciplines including Athletics, Boxing, Wrestling, Kabaddi, Hockey, Football, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Swimming, Yoga, and many more.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- The Matriculation certificate will be considered as the valid proof for date of birth.
- Certificates issued by boards other than Central/State Boards must be supported by a Government equivalence notification.
Sports Qualification
Candidates must have participated or won medals in International or National level sports competitions conducted between 15 January 2024 and 15 January 2026.
Eligible Sports Achievements:
- Participation or medal in International tournaments recognized by IOC / IOA / MOYAS
- Medal winners in National Games, Senior National Championships, National Open Championships, Youth/Junior Nationals
- For team events, the candidate must be a main playing member (not a reserve)
🔹 Minimum qualifying marks: 12 marks (for all categories)
Preference Order
- International medal winners (Gold → Silver → Bronze → Participation)
- National level medal winners (up to 3rd place)
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Pay: ₹21,700 per month (Level-3, 7th CPC)
- Allowances: DA, HRA, TA and other benefits as per Central Government rules
- Pension: New Pension Scheme (NPS)
- Other service benefits applicable to BSF personnel
